Vurr is designed with privacy in mind. A Vurr account is required to use the app — this allows your data to be backed up securely so you never lose it when switching phones or reinstalling.

What Vurr stores

• Espresso shot logs (grind setting, dose, yield, extraction time, rating, notes)
• Bean and roaster names you enter
• Your grinder setup and calibration preferences
• Your drink type preference

This data is synced to secure cloud servers provided by Supabase (supabase.com). Your account requires an email address. You can review Supabase’s privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

Weather data

Vurr fetches current weather conditions (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure) to improve grind suggestions. This request is made to Open-Meteo, a free and open weather service. Your approximate location is used to fetch local weather. We do not store your location. Open-Meteo does not link weather requests to individual users. You can review Open-Meteo’s privacy policy at open-meteo.com.

What Vurr does not do

• Account creation is optional — you can use Vurr fully without one
• If you create an account, we collect your email address only
• We do not collect your name or any other personal identifier
• We do not use analytics tools or tracking SDKs
• We do not serve ads
• We do not sell data
• We do not share data with third parties

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Local data on your device is deleted separately via Settings → Erase All My Data.
